Xi Jinping Leaves Beijing for State Visits to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Tajikistan and Attendance at the 19th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the 5th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia

On June 12, 2019, President Xi Jinping left Beijing by a special plane for a state visit to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan and attendance at the 19th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Bishkek at the invitation of President Sooronbay Jeenbekov of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, as well as for attendance at the 5th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia in Dushanbe and a state visit to Tajikistan at the invitation of President Emomali Rahmon of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Members of Xi Jinping's delegation include Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee Ding Xuexiang; Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee Yang Jiechi; State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi; and Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Director of the National Development and Reform Commission He Lifeng.
