President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Han Zhiqiang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Thailand, replacing Lyu Jian.

II. Wang Lixin (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Maldives, replacing Zhang Lizhong.

III. Fei Shengchao was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Federal Republic of Somalia, replacing Qin Jian.

IV. Jiang Feng was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Niger, replacing Zhang Lijun.

V. Sun Linjiang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Poland, replacing Liu Guangyuan.

VI. Han Jing was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Suriname, replacing Liu Quan.
