Q: On August 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed that the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, Germany and Iran hold a virtual summit on the Iranian nuclear issue. I wonder if China has a comment?

A: China welcomes President Putin's proposal to hold a virtual summit on the Iranian nuclear issue. We applaud Russia's efforts towards easing tensions surrounding this issue and strengthening regional security. China is committed to upholding the JCPOA and Middle East peace and stability.
